1. Target conformance level
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the W3C.
2. Scope
The conformance target covers the main public pages of https://jime.ieej.or.jp, including the home page, About, Publications, Events and Contact pages. Member-only pages will be brought into conformance progressively.
3. Approach
- Proper heading hierarchy and alternative text for all non-text content
- Form inputs are associated with descriptive labels
- Information is not conveyed by colour alone
- All functionality is accessible via keyboard
- Content is compatible with screen readers
4. Testing
We conduct formal accessibility audits of key pages at least once per year and publish the results on this page.
