DAMASCUS Sept 24 (SANA)

Damascus Radio Monday noted that the late President Hafez Assad's

call in the past for holding an International conference to define

terrorism and to distinguish from the legitimate resistance of the

occupation began to be concerned internationally.

The Radio warned against the Israeli claiming of being a victim of

terrorism and violence when it practices the most ugly kind of

terrorism.

The Radio called for recognizing the dangers of the persistence of

Israel in its criminal and anti-peace policy.

The Radio called on Arabs and Muslims as to activate efforts in

combating terrorism and unveiling the terrorism of the Zionism.

The Radio called for forcing Israel as to commit with the

International legitimacy resolutions.

'' President Bashar Assad's call for an active massive International

cooperation under the patronage of the United Nations as to avoid

new destructive terrorist attacks and to uproot the terrorism is a

strong basis for any international move in this regard.'' the

Radio concluded.
