SPA-8-POLITICS/KUWAITI MINISTER HIGHLIGHTS IMPORTANCE OF SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER'S TALKS IN U.S. 2 JEDDAH

'MOREOVER, PRINCE SAUD HAD REITERATED THAT ISLAM AND MUSLIMS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TERROR ACTS THAT TOOK PLACE RECENTLY,' SHEIKH AL-SABAH SAID.

HE POINTED OUT THAT THE ADVERSE IMPACT OF THE TERROR ACTS THAT TOOK PLACE IN THE USA WOULD NOT ONLY BE CONFINED TO THE USA, BUTIT WOULD ALSO EXTEND TO COVER THE MUSLIM COUNTRIES AND TO THE MUSLIMS.

SHEIKH AL-SABAH REITERATED THE DISAPPROVAL OF THE GCC MEMBER STATES TO ALL FORMS AND MOTIVES OF TERRORISM, AND VOICED THE SUPPORT OF THE GCC STATES TO ALL INTERNATIONAL EFFORTS THAT AIMS AT COMBATINGTERRORISM.

'TERRORISM IS NOT CONFINED TO A CERTAIN RELIGION, RACE OR GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION', SAID SHEIKH AL-SABAH WHILE CALLING FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION TO CONFRONT THIS DANGEROUS PHENOMENON.--SPA
