  SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER IN THE US WEDNESDAY
 
  RIYADH, SEPT 18 (KUNA) -- SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER PRINCE SAUD AL-FAYSAL
  WOULD ON WEDNESDAY BEGIN A FEW-DAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE US, IT WAS ANNOUNCED
  HERE TODAY.
  HEAD OF THE SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER'S OFFICE AMBASSADOR HAMAD AL-FARIS
  SAID IN A PRESS STATEMENT PUBLISHED HERE THAT PRINCE SAUD WOULD CONVEY TO
  PRESIDENT BUSH , HIS ADMINISTRATION AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE SINCERE
  CONDOLENCES OF KING FAHAD BIN ABDULAZIZ AND THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE ON
  THE LOSS OF VICTIMS OF LAST TUESDAY'S ATTACKS.
  AL-FARIS SAID THE SAUDI OFFICIAL'S TALKS WITH THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION WOULD
  CONCERN INTERNATIONAL EFFORTS IN THE BATTLE AGAINST TERRORISM IN ALL ITS FORMS
  AND TYPES.
  HE ADDED PRINCE SAUD, WHO IS ACCOMPANIED BY AN INTERIOR MINISTRY
  DELEGATION, WOULD ALSO DISCUSS WITH US AUTHORITIES THE ARRESTS AND QUESTIONING
  OF SAUDI CITIZENS SUSPECTED OF BEING INVOLVED WITH THE ATTACKS AND SECURITY
  COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
  PRINCE SAUD'S TALKS WITH HIS AMERICAN COUNTERPART COLIN POWELL ARE TO
  DISCUSS BOOSTING BILATERAL TIES IN ALL ASPECTS AS WELL AS THE AFTERMATH OF THE
  WASHINGTON AND NEW YORK ATTACKS AND THE US DECLARATION OF WAR AGAINST
  TERRORISM.
  PRINCE SAUD WOULD ALSO CONVEY TO THE AMERICAN ADMINISTRATION KING FAHAD'S
  PLEA THAT THE US TAKES CAUTION NOT TO MAKE HASTY CONCLUSIONS CONCERNING THOSE
  WHO MASTERMINDED THE ATTACKS AND NOT TO READILY ACCUSE ISLAM AND MUSLIMS.
  THE SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER IS ACCOMPANIED BY A LARGE DELEGATION THAT
  INCLUDES OFFICIALS FROM MINISTRIES OF INTERIOR AND FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND THE
  SAUDI SHURA COUNCIL AS WELL. (END)
