King Abdullah Chairs Meeting at Royal Court, Condemns Terrorist
Attacks on U.S.
Amman, Sept 12, (Petra)--His Majesty
King Abdullah II, Wednesday, strongly condemned the terrorist
attacks on the United States and resulted in heavy losses in
lives of innocent people. During a meeting he chaired at the
Royal Court, attended by Prime Minister, Royal Court Chief,
Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Foreign Minister
and Information Minister, King Abdullah reviewed the bloody
events of the suicide attacks on the U.S. cities of New York and
Washington on Tuesday and strongly condemned the terrorist attacks.
King Abdullah expressed his deep condolences and those of the
people and government of Jordan to U.S. President and the
American people and families of the victims. During the
meeting, the King listened to a briefing by Prime Minister on
the internal affairs in the Kingdom as well as to a briefing by the
Foreign Minister on latest developments in the Palestinian
territories and the outcome of the meeting of the Arab League
Foreign Ministers in Cairo this week and tripartite meeting
bringing together foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt and
Palestine .
