Terrorist Attacks against the US Condemned

Capitals Sept 13 (SANA) The Arab League Council condemned Thursday the

terrorist attacks against vital landmarks in the US and against innocent

civilians.

I a statement, the Council offered condolences to and solidarity with the US

people and victims families.

The Council also deplored the Israeli and US media attempts to accuse certain

parties with no evidence and condemned the Israeli exploitation of these

tragic events through escalating aggressions against innocent Palestinians.

Arab League Secretary General, Omar Moussa said the Palestinian intifada is a

legitimate right and has no relation with what happened in the US.

Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ahmad Maher, warned against drawing conclusions from

the US events before investigations are concluded.

Meantime, Damascus Radio asserted Syria's condemnation of terrorism and call

for uprooting terrorism and condemnation of the criminal terrorsit attacks

against US civilians.

Arab parliamentarians, attending Ougadougou Parliamentarian Conference,

condemned the terrorist criminal attacks against the US.

Lebanese President, Emile Lahoud, condemned the terrorist attacks and offered

condolences to the US citizens and President George W. Bush.
