Syria and all the world Condemned Terrorist Attacks against the USA

Washington Sept 12 (SANA) President Bashar Assad condemned Wednesday the

terrorist attacks against innocent civilians and vital posts in the USA

yesterday.

In a condolence message to his US counterpart, George W. Bush, President Assad,

on behalf of the Syrians and of his own offered condolences to President Bush

and to the American people and to the victims families.

President Assad urged for international cooperation as to uproot all form of

terrorism and as to guarantee man's right to live in security and peace every

where in the world.

The terrorist attacks against strategic places in the US yesterday by so far

unknown terrorist gangs hit all of a sudden the famous world trade center,

Pentagon, in Washington and in New York States.

This coward attack was internationally condemned in the strongest forms; the

Sudan, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Arab Youth Union, Organization of Islamic

Countries, Bahrain, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Turkey, the

European Union, NATO, Libya, Italy, Vatican, UN Secretary General, New

Zealand, Singapore, Cuba, Taiwan, Canada, Denmark, UN Human Rights

Commissioner, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Sweden, Ukraine

and by all peace loving people all over the world vehemently denounced and voiced sympathy

th and stance by the US citizens in their tragedy.

The US was exposed Tuesday to a series of explosions;

two explosions caused by two airplanes shook the Pentagon, one near the US

State Department by a booby trapped car, two airplanes hit World Trade Center.

US President, George W. Bush stated that the explosions were caused by a

"terrorist act".

The US police sources said that the airplanes were civilian ones and were

hijacked from Boston.

US Civilian Air Administration ordered all incoming planes to the US to head

for landing in Canada.

US United Airlines and American Airlines stated that four of their planes were

lost.

These terrorist explosions were internationally condemned; Lebanese Premier,

Rafdiq Hariri held that attacks as ' in contradiction with human values,

religious and heaven principles', Jordanian Government deplored and offered

condolences, Palestinian Authority Chairman Arafat condemned them, The Islamic

Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine asserted their

opposition for anything against civilians, British Premier Tony Blair and

Foreign Minister Strew deplored the explosions and offered condolences,

President

Chirac of France condemned and underlined French stance by the

Americans, President Putin of Russia deplored such ' inhuman acts' and offered

condolences, King Mohammad of Morocco condemned and offered condolences.
