PRINCE BANDAR POINTED OUT THAT THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA AND MEMBERS OF OPEC ARE COMMITTED TO KEEP OIL PRICES STABLE AND TO MEET THE NEED OF OIL DEMANDS AND THERE IS NO REASON FOR A FEAR.

IN RESPONSE TO REPORTERS' QUESTIONS ON A U.S. REACTION IN THEMIDDLE EAST FOLLOWING THE TERRORIST ATTACK, HE CALLED ON NOT TO PRECEDE EVENTS AND TO WAIT FOR INVESTIGATIONS RESULTS.

IN REPLY TO A QUESTION WHETHER HE HAD CONTACTS WITH THE AMERICAN ADMINISTRATION, PRINCE BANDAR SAID HE HAD BEEN IN CONTACT WITH COLIN POWELL, AMERICAN SECRETARY OF STATE, AND CONDALISA RICE, ADVISOR OF PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH FOR NATIONAL SECURITY AFFAIRS.

HE OFFERED SAUDI ARABIA'S COMPLETE ASSISTANCE AND COOPERATIONFOR ERADICATING TERRORISM.--MORE
